So, we moved out of our crappy apartment last weekend. We moved during the first wave of a pretty terrible snowstorm. Zach says that in true Amityville Horror fashion, Cliff House knew we were trying to escape. Misty Garrick Miller posted a photo:

This storm hasn't been the storm of the century as advertised; at least not in Burnsville. There are drifts in the back yard that Tarja could get semi-lost in; but there are also areas where grass stubble is still visible. Bill used the snow blower this morning before leaving for work. If my shoulder cooperates, I will go out later and tackle the back patio area. HOARY HEAD posted a photo:
Sitting in the park sipping a large skim chai, aahhh. This fountain was so boisterous it was difficult to have a conversation. Of course having all of our camera stuff in between us did not help. It makes me think I need a hearing aid; background noise is really getting annoying. haire_family posted a photo:
We all lived in this house. Misty Garrick Miller posted a photo:
This sad little light in the stairway has been hanging from a wire for over a week. It still lights up, though, so I guess that's why our onsite manager hasn't deemed it necessary to fix it. Needless to say, my apartment still sucks.
Upate: After 12 days, a call to the onsite manager, and an email to the property manager (the onsite manager's boss), the light has been fixed. HOARY HEAD posted a photo:
This public park in Burnsville, MN is utilized by families on hot days. I love this use of the park; I was afraid it would be another sterile suburban park. Of course, I don't know what the creators of the park think of it's use as a water park and quite frankly, don't care! Misty Garrick Miller posted a photo:
As does our site manager.
I'm getting pretty issed myself. |
